ANT OGDEN
Co-Founder | Artist | Guardian of the Groove
Ant Ogden’s relationship with dance music is a lifelong odyssey that began in the late 80s and early 90s. Initially captivated by the electronic frontier of Acid House and hits from 808 State, Stakker Humanoid & Technotronic, his passion deepened in the peak years of 1992 and 1993. Drawn to the high-energy spirit of Happy Hardcore, he found early inspiration in the sounds of DJ Dougal, DJ Seduction, and Billy Bunter.
A veteran of the legendary Northern club scene, Ant spent his formative years at iconic haunts like Afterdark and Waterfront in Skipton, as well as the world-renowned Back to Basics and Ark in Leeds. It was at Ark where he witnessed the technical mastery of Rob Tissera, Vertigo, and DJ Sy, including a life-changing three-deck set by Carl Cox - moments that would eventually fuel his own transition from the dance floor to the booth.
After years of honing his craft as a vinyl enthusiast on belt-driven turntables, a 2010s revival led him back to the decks. Following stints on radio stations such as Influx, React, and Trax Radio, Ant co-founded Sublime Soundz alongside Zoe Poey. Together, they built a thriving online community and a platform for dedicated artists across all genres.
Ant reached a poignant milestone when he performed at Back to the Dock in Liverpool. After playing the OldSkool room, he took to the Hardcore stage to share a lineup with his childhood hero, DJ Sy - a full-circle moment that solidified his place in the scene.
Today, Ant remains a driving force behind Sublime Soundz, tirelessly keeping the wheels turning in memory of his co-founder, Zoe, who passed away in 2025. Alongside Zoe's cousin, Diana - long affectionately known as the heart of the station’s HR and Marketing - the team continues to pump out some of the best dance music around.
Ensuring a legacy Zoe would be deeply proud of, Ant and Diana now run the station together, leading Sublime Soundz into its next chapter.
ALWYNN MARIS

With over a decade behind the decks and five years in music production, Alwynn Marais views music as more than just a career—it is a lifelong sanctuary. Alwynn’s journey began in the school years, fueled by the late-night house mixes of 5fm, which sparked a fascination with the technical art of the transition.
Today, Alwynn is known for a high-energy, genre-fluid style that spans everything from Hip Hop and Psytrance to Deep House, DnB, and Techno. Having previously played for Utter Radio and now a proud member of the Sublime Soundz roster, Alwynn continues to explore the limitless ways sound can transform negativity into connection.

Ant C is a DJ whose sound is a bridge between the legendary foundations of the UK rave scene and the cutting-edge energy of today. A lifelong disciple of the OldSkool movement, his musical DNA was formed by the iconic airwaves of Sunset 102 and Key 103, and the pioneering sounds of 808 State and Stu Allan.
While his history on the dancefloor spans decades, Ant C’s transition to the booth began just three years ago. Since picking up his first set of decks, he has rapidly developed a signature style that blends technical precision with a unique creative vision: bringing "NuSkool" sounds to the original "OldSkool" generation.
This fresh perspective has already seen him share stages at prestigious events including Golden Daze, Rave Odyssey, and Back By Dope Demand. When he isn't behind the decks at events like Casa Italiana or OSN - Release the Pressure, he is a mainstay of the airwaves, hosting his weekly Sublime Soundz Radio show every Thursday.
Ant C is more than a DJ; he is a curator of the rave spirit, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the music he loves while staying true to the culture that raised him.
DJ WAYNEE

With a career spanning over a quarter of a century, DJ Waynee is a cornerstone of the Redditch electronic music scene. His journey began in 1997, mastering the art of Oldskool and Jungle on vinyl, long before the digital era took hold. This foundation in the bedroom evolved into a lifelong mission to champion underground sounds.
In 2002, Waynee made his club debut with Timeless Promotions. His impact was immediate, securing a residency at The Venue where he played alongside the industry’s elite. By 2008, his passion for the brand saw him step into a leadership role as CEO, steering the promotional ship and ensuring Redditch remained a destination for world-class DJ talent.
Following a successful residency with Sublime DnB in the mid-2010s, Waynee returned to his roots in 2018. Alongside the original Timeless crew, he reunited the collective to bring high-energy parties back to the local community.
Over his 25-year career, Waynee has shared the stage and the flyer with a "who’s who" of dance music history. His diverse technical skill and deep crates have seen him perform alongside legends such as:
- The Pioneers: Altern 8, Slipmatt, Doc Scott, Randall, and Ray Keith.
- The Liquid & Modern Greats: Hybrid Minds, LSB, Lenzman, Bcee, and Makoto.

From the raw energy of the 90s vinyl scene to the polished production of modern Drum & Bass, DJ Waynee remains a dedicated servant to the beat and a vital force in the UK’s nightlife heritage.
DJ THE MAN WITH THE BEARD
DJ THE MAN WITH THE BEARD has been putting in work behind the decks for five years, but the obsession started way before that. Born and raised in Manchester, he was brought up on Motown and Northern Soul during his youth. Later, bands like The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, and The Smiths led him to the classic sound of Chicago House.
His love for all things rave began in clubs that played the "Madchester" sound, fueled by the raw energy of ’90s Jungle, Underground Hip-Hop, Hardcore, Acid, and Rave. Back then, it wasn't about the lights or the fame—it was just about the rhythm and the crates.
The spark was lit by icons like Mark XTC, Moggy, and Jay Wearden. From legendary clubs like The Haçienda, Konspiracy, The Limit, The Hippodrome, Shelly's, and Sequins, to small bars like Bergman's in Oldham - Manchester and the surrounding areas were the place to be. Watching those DJs control a room wasn’t just a lesson; it was a blueprint. Inspired by that old-school grit, THE MAN WITH THE BEARD started his journey in 2001, learning that a real DJ doesn't just "play music" - they set the temperature.
After only five years in the game, the sound has leveled up. What started as trial and error - and practice, practice, practice—has evolved into a heavy-hitting mix of ’90s Old Skool Rave.
